Salt Lake Temple, South - $650

The Salt Lake Temple is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Building began in 1853 and the Temple was completed in 1893. The exterior is made from Quartz Monzonite, quarried from Little Cottonwood Canyon, 20 miles southeast of Salt Lake City. Rich symbolism adorns the exterior of the Salt Lake Temple, depicting mankind's journey from mortality into the eternal realms. Six-spire design is suggestive of Gothic and other classical styles but the design is unique, distinctive, and symbolic.
